Project Information

The customer approached Lockertek on behalf of a prestigious private client requiring a bespoke wooden locker installation for a premium staff changing area. From the outset, the brief focused on combining high-quality craftsmanship with a contemporary aesthetic that complemented the wider interior design. The project called for lockers that would not only provide secure storage but also enhance the overall look and feel of the space, making appearance just as important as functionality.

Throughout the project, our team worked closely with the customer to refine the specification. Multiple quotations were produced as different locker styles, configurations and layouts were considered before the final design was agreed. A site survey was arranged to take accurate measurements, discuss installation requirements and ensure every locker bank was manufactured to fit the available space perfectly. During this stage, timber samples were reviewed and the Roble Sinatra finish was selected, along with contemporary black hardware to complement the premium interior. The customer also requested bespoke name card holders in place of traditional locker numbering, creating a more personalised and refined appearance for individual users.

Following the site survey, detailed manufacturing drawings were prepared and carefully reviewed before being formally approved. This collaborative sign-off process ensured every dimension, layout and design detail met the customer's expectations before production began. Regular progress updates were provided throughout manufacturing, with delivery and installation coordinated around the wider construction programme to minimise disruption and keep the project on schedule.

After installation, a small number of finishing components, including end panels, scribe panels and plinths, required a planned return visit to complete the installation to the highest standard. The finished project delivered a fully bespoke wooden locker solution tailored to both the available space and the client's design vision, demonstrating Lockertek's ability to support customers from the initial concept and design stages through to manufacture, installation and final completion.
